1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
1 La revelación de Jesucristo, que Dios le dio, para manifestar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto; y la declaró enviándola por medio de su ángel a su siervo Juan,
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
2 que ha dado testimonio de la palabra de Dios, y del testimonio de Jesucristo, y de todas las cosas que ha visto.
3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
3 Bienaventurado el que lee, y los que oyen las palabras de esta profecía, y guardan las cosas en ella escritas; porque el tiempo está cerca.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
4 Juan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia y paz a vosotros, del que es y que era y que ha de venir, y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono;
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
5 y de Jesucristo el testigo fiel, el primogénito de los muertos, y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos amó, y nos lavó de nuestros pecados con su sangre,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
6 y nos hizo reyes y sacerdotes para Dios, su Padre; a él sea gloria e imperio por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
7 He aquí que viene con las nubes, y todo ojo le verá, y los que le traspasaron; y todos los linajes de la tierra harán lamentación por él. Sí, amén.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
8 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, principio y fin, dice el Señor, el que es y que era y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso.
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
9 Yo Juan, vuestro hermano, y copartícipe vuestro en la tribulación, en el reino y en la paciencia de Jesucristo, estaba en la isla llamada Patmos, por causa de la palabra de Dios y el testimonio de Jesucristo.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
10 Yo estaba en el Espíritu en el día del Señor, y oí detrás de mí una gran voz como de trompeta,
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
11 que decía: Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el primero y el último. Escribe en un libro lo que ves, y envíalo a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: a Éfeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardis, Filadelfia y Laodicea.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
12 Y me volví para ver la voz que hablaba conmigo; y vuelto, vi siete candeleros de oro,
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
13 y en medio de los siete candeleros, a uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre, vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñido por el pecho con un cinto de oro.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
14 Su cabeza y sus cabellos eran blancos como blanca lana, como nieve; sus ojos como llama de fuego;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
15 y sus pies semejantes al bronce bruñido, refulgente como en un horno; y su voz como estruendo de muchas aguas.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
16 Tenía en su diestra siete estrellas; de su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos; y su rostro era como el sol cuando resplandece en su fuerza.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
17 Cuando le vi, caí como muerto a sus pies. Y él puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome: No temas; yo soy el primero y el último;
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
18 y el que vivo, y estuve muerto; mas he aquí que vivo por los siglos de los siglos, amén. Y tengo las llaves de la muerte y del Hades.
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
19 Escribe las cosas que has visto, y las que son, y las que han de ser después de éstas.
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
20 El misterio de las siete estrellas que has visto en mi diestra, y de los siete candeleros de oro: las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias, y los siete candeleros que has visto, son las siete iglesias.
Revelation 2
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
1 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Éfeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el que anda en medio de los siete candeleros de oro, dice esto:
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
2 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu arduo trabajo y paciencia; y que no puedes soportar a los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos;
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
3 y has sufrido, y has tenido paciencia, y has trabajado arduamente por amor de mi nombre, y no has desmayado.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
4 Pero tengo contra ti, que has dejado tu primer amor.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
5 Recuerda, por tanto, de dónde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; pues si no, vendré pronto a ti, y quitaré tu candelero de su lugar, si no te hubieres arrepentido.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
6 Pero tienes esto, que aborreces las obras de los nicolaítas, las cuales yo también aborrezco.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
7 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que venciere, le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
8 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Esmirna: El primero y el postrero, el que estuvo muerto y vivió, dice esto:
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
9 Yo conozco tus obras, y tu tribulación, y tu pobreza (pero tú eres rico), y la blasfemia de los que se dicen ser judíos, y no lo son, sino sinagoga de Satanás.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
10 No temas en nada lo que vas a padecer. He aquí, el diablo echará a algunos de vosotros en la cárcel, para que seáis probados, y tendréis tribulación por diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
11 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. El que venciere, no sufrirá daño de la segunda muerte.
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
12 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Pérgamo: El que tiene la espada aguda de dos filos dice esto:
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
13 Yo conozco tus obras, y dónde moras, donde está el trono de Satanás; pero retienes mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, ni aun en los días en que Antipas mi testigo fiel fue muerto entre vosotros, donde mora Satanás.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
14 Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que tienes ahí a los que retienen la doctrina de Balaam, que enseñaba a Balac a poner tropiezo ante los hijos de Israel, a comer de cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos, y a cometer fornicación.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
15 Y también tienes a los que retienen la doctrina de los nicolaítas, la que yo aborrezco.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
16 Por tanto, arrepiéntete; pues si no, vendré a ti pronto, y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
17 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al que venciere, daré a comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca, y en la piedrecita escrito un nombre nuevo, el cual ninguno conoce sino aquel que lo recibe.
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
18 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Tiatira: El Hijo de Dios, el que tiene ojos como llama de fuego, y pies semejantes al bronce bruñido, dice esto:
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
19 Yo conozco tus obras, y amor, y fe, y servicio, y tu paciencia, y que tus obras postreras son más que las primeras.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
20 Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que toleras que esa mujer Jezabel, que se dice profetisa, enseñe y seduzca a mis siervos a fornicar y a comer cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
21 Y le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta, pero no quiere arrepentirse de su fornicación.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
22 He aquí, yo la arrojo en cama, y en gran tribulación a los que con ella adulteran, si no se arrepienten de las obras de ella.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
23 Y a sus hijos heriré de muerte, y todas las iglesias sabrán que yo soy el que escudriña la mente y el corazón; y os daré a cada uno según vuestras obras.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
24 Pero a vosotros y a los demás que están en Tiatira, a cuantos no tienen esa doctrina, y no han conocido lo que ellos llaman las profundidades de Satanás, yo os digo: No os impondré otra carga;
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
25 pero lo que tenéis, retenedlo hasta que yo venga.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
26 Al que venciere y guardare mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré autoridad sobre las naciones,
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
27 y las regirá con vara de hierro, y serán quebradas como vaso de alfarero; como yo también la he recibido de mi Padre;
28 And I will give him the morning star.
28 y le daré la estrella de la mañana.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
29 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
Revelation 3
1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
1 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Sardis: El que tiene los siete espíritus de Dios, y las siete estrellas, dice esto: Yo conozco tus obras, que tienes nombre de que vives, y estás muerto.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
2 Sé vigilante, y afirma las otras cosas que están para morir; porque no he hallado tus obras perfectas delante de Dios.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
3 Acuérdate, pues, de lo que has recibido y oído; y guárdalo, y arrepiéntete. Pues si no velas, vendré sobre ti como ladrón, y no sabrás a qué hora vendré sobre ti.
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
4 Pero tienes unas pocas personas en Sardis que no han manchado sus vestiduras; y andarán conmigo en vestiduras blancas, porque son dignas.
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
5 El que venciere será vestido de vestiduras blancas; y no borraré su nombre del libro de la vida, y confesaré su nombre delante de mi Padre, y delante de sus ángeles.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
6 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
7 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia: Esto dice el Santo, el Verdadero, el que tiene la llave de David, el que abre y ninguno cierra, y cierra y ninguno abre:
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
8 Yo conozco tus obras; he aquí, he puesto delante de ti una puerta abierta, la cual nadie puede cerrar; porque aunque tienes poca fuerza, has guardado mi palabra, y no has negado mi nombre.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
9 He aquí, yo entrego de la sinagoga de Satanás a los que se dicen ser judíos y no lo son, sino que mienten; he aquí, yo haré que vengan y se postren a tus pies, y reconozcan que yo te he amado.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
10 Por cuanto has guardado la palabra de mi paciencia, yo también te guardaré de la hora de la prueba que ha de venir sobre el mundo entero, para probar a los que moran sobre la tierra.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
11 He aquí, yo vengo pronto; retén lo que tienes, para que ninguno tome tu corona.
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
12 Al que venciere, yo lo haré columna en el templo de mi Dios, y nunca más saldrá de allí; y escribiré sobre él el nombre de mi Dios, y el nombre de la ciudad de mi Dios, la nueva Jerusalén, la cual desciende del cielo, de mi Dios, y mi nombre nuevo.
13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
13 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
14 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Laodicea: He aquí el Amén, el testigo fiel y verdadero, el principio de la creación de Dios, dice esto:
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
15 Yo conozco tus obras, que ni eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueses frío o caliente!
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
16 Pero por cuanto eres tibio, y no frío ni caliente, te vomitaré de mi boca.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
17 Porque tú dices: Yo soy rico, y me he enriquecido, y de ninguna cosa tengo necesidad; y no sabes que tú eres un desventurado, miserable, pobre, ciego y desnudo.
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
18 Por tanto, yo te aconsejo que de mí compres oro refinado en fuego, para que seas rico, y vestiduras blancas para vestirte, y que no se descubra la vergüenza de tu desnudez; y unge tus ojos con colirio, para que veas.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
19 Yo reprendo y castigo a todos los que amo; sé, pues, celoso, y arrepiéntete.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
20 He aquí, yo estoy a la puerta y llamo; si alguno oye mi voz y abre la puerta, entraré a él, y cenaré con él, y él conmigo.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
21 Al que venciere, le daré que se siente conmigo en mi trono, así como yo he vencido, y me he sentado con mi Padre en su trono.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
22 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.

Revelation 4
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
1 Después de esto miré, y he aquí una puerta abierta en el cielo; y la primera voz que oí, como de trompeta, hablando conmigo, dijo: Sube acá, y yo te mostraré las cosas que sucederán después de éstas.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
2 Y al instante yo estaba en el Espíritu; y he aquí, un trono establecido en el cielo, y en el trono, uno sentado.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
3 Y el aspecto del que estaba sentado era semejante a piedra de jaspe y de cornalina; y había alrededor del trono un arco iris, semejante en aspecto a la esmeralda.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
4 Y alrededor del trono había veinticuatro tronos; y vi sentados en los tronos a veinticuatro ancianos, vestidos de ropas blancas, con coronas de oro en sus cabezas.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
5 Y del trono salían relámpagos y truenos y voces; y delante del trono ardían siete lámparas de fuego, las cuales son los siete espíritus de Dios.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
6 Y delante del trono había como un mar de vidrio semejante al cristal; y junto al trono, y alrededor del trono, cuatro seres vivientes llenos de ojos delante y detrás.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
7 El primer ser viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo era semejante a un becerro; el tercero tenía rostro como de hombre; y el cuarto era semejante a un águila volando.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
8 Y los cuatro seres vivientes tenían cada uno seis alas, y alrededor y por dentro estaban llenos de ojos; y no cesaban día y noche de decir: Santo, santo, santo es el Señor Dios Todopoderoso, el que era, el que es, y el que ha de venir.
9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
9 Y siempre que aquellos seres vivientes dan gloria y honra y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos,
10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
10 los veinticuatro ancianos se postran delante del que está sentado en el trono, y adoran al que vive por los siglos de los siglos, y echan sus coronas delante del trono, diciendo:
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
11 Señor, digno eres de recibir la gloria y la honra y el poder; porque tú creaste todas las cosas, y por tu voluntad existen y fueron creadas.

Revelation 5
1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
1 Y vi en la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono un libro escrito por dentro y por fuera, sellado con siete sellos.
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
2 Y vi a un ángel fuerte que pregonaba a gran voz: ¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos?
3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
3 Y ninguno, ni en el cielo ni en la tierra ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro, ni aun mirarlo.
4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
4 Y lloraba yo mucho, porque no se había hallado a ninguno digno de abrir el libro, ni de leerlo, ni de mirarlo.
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5 Y uno de los ancianos me dijo: No llores. He aquí que el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha vencido para abrir el libro y desatar sus siete sellos.
6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
6 Y miré, y vi que en medio del trono y de los cuatro seres vivientes, y en medio de los ancianos, estaba en pie un Cordero como inmolado, que tenía siete cuernos, y siete ojos, los cuales son los siete espíritus de Dios enviados por toda la tierra.
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
7 Y vino, y tomó el libro de la mano derecha del que estaba sentado en el trono.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
8 Y cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero; todos tenían arpas, y copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones de los santos;
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
9 y cantaban un nuevo cántico, diciendo: Digno eres de tomar el libro y de abrir sus sellos; porque tú fuiste inmolado, y con tu sangre nos has redimido para Dios, de todo linaje y lengua y pueblo y nación;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
10 y nos has hecho para nuestro Dios reyes y sacerdotes, y reinaremos sobre la tierra.
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
11 Y miré, y oí la voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono, y de los seres vivientes, y de los ancianos; y su número era millones de millones,
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
12 que decían a gran voz: El Cordero que fue inmolado es digno de tomar el poder, las riquezas, la sabiduría, la fortaleza, la honra, la gloria y la alabanza.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
13 Y a todo lo creado que está en el cielo, y sobre la tierra, y debajo de la tierra, y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que en ellos hay, oí decir: Al que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero, sea la alabanza, la honra, la gloria y el poder, por los siglos de los siglos.
14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
14 Los cuatro seres vivientes decían: Amén; y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron sobre sus rostros y adoraron al que vive por los siglos de los siglos.

Revelation 6
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
1 Vi cuando el Cordero abrió uno de los sellos, y oí a uno de los cuatro seres vivientes decir como con voz de trueno: Ven y mira.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
2 Y miré, y he aquí un caballo blanco; y el que lo montaba tenía un arco; y le fue dada una corona, y salió venciendo, y para vencer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
3 Cuando abrió el segundo sello, oí al segundo ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
4 Y salió otro caballo, bermejo; y al que lo montaba le fue dado poder de quitar de la tierra la paz, y que se matasen unos a otros; y se le dio una gran espada.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
5 Cuando abrió el tercer sello, oí al tercer ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira. Y miré, y he aquí un caballo negro; y el que lo montaba tenía una balanza en la mano.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
6 Y oí una voz de en medio de los cuatro seres vivientes, que decía: Dos libras de trigo por un denario, y seis libras de cebada por un denario; pero no dañes el aceite ni el vino.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
7 Cuando abrió el cuarto sello, oí la voz del cuarto ser viviente, que decía: Ven y mira.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
8 Miré, y he aquí un caballo amarillo, y el que lo montaba tenía por nombre Muerte, y el Hades le seguía; y le fue dada potestad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar con espada, con hambre, con mortandad, y con las fieras de la tierra.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
9 Cuando abrió el quinto sello, vi bajo el altar las almas de los que habían sido muertos por causa de la palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que tenían.
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
10 Y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: ¿Hasta cuándo, Señor, santo y verdadero, no juzgas y vengas nuestra sangre en los que moran en la tierra?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
11 Y se les dieron vestiduras blancas, y se les dijo que descansasen todavía un poco de tiempo, hasta que se completara el número de sus consiervos y sus hermanos, que también habían de ser muertos como ellos.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
12 Miré cuando abrió el sexto sello, y he aquí hubo un gran terremoto; y el sol se puso negro como tela de cilicio, y la luna se volvió toda como sangre;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
13 y las estrellas del cielo cayeron sobre la tierra, como la higuera deja caer sus higos cuando es sacudida por un fuerte viento.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
14 Y el cielo se desvaneció como un pergamino que se enrolla; y todo monte y toda isla se removió de su lugar.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
15 Y los reyes de la tierra, y los grandes, los ricos, los capitanes, los poderosos, y todo siervo y todo libre, se escondieron en las cuevas y entre las peñas de los montes;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
16 y decían a los montes y a las peñas: Caed sobre nosotros, y escondednos del rostro de aquel que está sentado sobre el trono, y de la ira del Cordero;
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
17 porque el gran día de su ira ha llegado; ¿y quién podrá sostenerse en pie?
Revelation 7
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
1 Después de esto vi a cuatro ángeles en pie sobre los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, que detenían los cuatro vientos de la tierra, para que no soplase viento alguno sobre la tierra, ni sobre el mar, ni sobre ningún árbol.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
2 Vi también a otro ángel que subía de donde sale el sol, y tenía el sello del Dios vivo; y clamó a gran voz a los cuatro ángeles, a quienes se les había dado el poder de hacer daño a la tierra y al mar,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
3 diciendo: No hagáis daño a la tierra, ni al mar, ni a los árboles, hasta que hayamos sellado en sus frentes a los siervos de nuestro Dios.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
4 Y oí el número de los sellados: ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil sellados de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
5 De la tribu de Judá, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Rubén, doce mil sellados. De la tribu de Gad, doce mil sellados.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

9 Después de esto miré, y he aquí una gran multitud, la cual nadie podía contar, de todas naciones y tribus y pueblos y lenguas, que estaban delante del trono y en la presencia del Cordero, vestidos de ropas blancas, y con palmas en las manos;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
10 y clamaban a gran voz, diciendo: La salvación pertenece a nuestro Dios que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
11 Y todos los ángeles estaban en pie alrededor del trono, y de los ancianos y de los cuatro seres vivientes; y se postraron sobre sus rostros delante del trono, y adoraron a Dios,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
12 diciendo: Amén. La bendición y la gloria y la sabiduría y la acción de gracias y la honra y el poder y la fortaleza, sean a nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
13 Entonces uno de los ancianos habló, diciéndome: Estos que están vestidos de ropas blancas, ¿quiénes son, y de dónde han venido?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
14 Yo le dije: Señor, tú lo sabes. Y él me dijo: Éstos son los que han salido de la gran tribulación, y han lavado sus ropas, y las han emblanquecido en la sangre del Cordero.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
15 Por esto están delante del trono de Dios, y le sirven día y noche en su templo; y el que está sentado sobre el trono extenderá su tabernáculo sobre ellos.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
16 Ya no tendrán hambre ni sed, y el sol no caerá más sobre ellos, ni calor alguno;
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
17 porque el Cordero que está en medio del trono los pastoreará, y los guiará a fuentes de aguas de vida; y Dios enjugará toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos.
Revelation 8
1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
1 Cuando abrió el séptimo sello, se hizo silencio en el cielo como por media hora.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
2 Y vi a los siete ángeles que estaban en pie ante Dios; y se les dieron siete trompetas.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
3 Otro ángel vino entonces y se paró ante el altar, con un incensario de oro; y se le dio mucho incienso para añadirlo a las oraciones de todos los santos, sobre el altar de oro que estaba delante del trono.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.
4 Y de la mano del ángel subió a la presencia de Dios el humo del incienso con las oraciones de los santos.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
5 Y el ángel tomó el incensario, y lo llenó del fuego del altar, y lo arrojó a la tierra; y hubo truenos, y voces, y relámpagos, y un terremoto.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
6 Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas se dispusieron a tocarlas.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
7 El primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo granizo y fuego mezclados con sangre, que fueron lanzados sobre la tierra; y la tercera parte de los árboles se quemó, y se quemó toda la hierba verde.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
8 El segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y como una gran montaña ardiendo en fuego fue precipitada en el mar; y la tercera parte del mar se convirtió en sangre.
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
9 Y murió la tercera parte de los seres vivientes que estaban en el mar, y la tercera parte de las naves fue destruida.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
10 El tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una gran estrella, ardiendo como una antorcha, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos, y sobre las fuentes de las aguas.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
11 Y el nombre de la estrella es Ajenjo. Y la tercera parte de las aguas se convirtió en ajenjo; y muchos hombres murieron a causa de esas aguas, porque se hicieron amargas.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
12 El cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, y la tercera parte de la luna, y la tercera parte de las estrellas, para que se oscureciese la tercera parte de ellos, y no hubiese luz en la tercera parte del día, y asimismo de la noche.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
13 Y miré, y oí a un ángel volar por en medio del cielo, diciendo a gran voz: ¡Ay, ay, ay, de los que moran en la tierra, a causa de los otros toques de trompeta que están para sonar los tres ángeles!
Revelation 9
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
1 El quinto ángel tocó la trompeta, y vi una estrella que cayó del cielo a la tierra; y se le dio la llave del pozo del abismo.
2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
2 Y abrió el pozo del abismo, y subió humo del pozo como humo de un gran horno; y se oscureció el sol y el aire por el humo del pozo.
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
3 Y del humo salieron langostas sobre la tierra; y se les dio poder, como tienen poder los escorpiones de la tierra.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
4 Y se les mandó que no dañasen a la hierba de la tierra, ni a cosa verde alguna, ni a ningún árbol, sino solamente a los hombres que no tuviesen el sello de Dios en sus frentes.
5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
5 Y les fue dado, no que los matasen, sino que los atormentasen cinco meses; y su tormento era como tormento de escorpión cuando hiere al hombre.
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
6 Y en aquellos días los hombres buscarán la muerte, pero no la hallarán; y ansiarán morir, pero la muerte huirá de ellos.
7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
7 El aspecto de las langostas era semejante a caballos preparados para la guerra; en las cabezas tenían como coronas de oro; sus caras eran como caras humanas;
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
8 tenían cabello como cabello de mujer; sus dientes eran como de leones;
9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
9 tenían corazas como corazas de hierro; el ruido de sus alas era como el estruendo de muchos carros de caballos corriendo a la batalla;
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
10 tenían colas como de escorpiones, y también aguijones; y en sus colas tenían poder para dañar a los hombres durante cinco meses.
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
11 Y tienen por rey sobre ellos al ángel del abismo, cuyo nombre en hebreo es Abadón, y en griego, Apolión.
12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
12 El primer ay pasó; he aquí, vienen aún dos ayes después de esto.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
13 El sexto ángel tocó la trompeta, y oí una voz de entre los cuatro cuernos del altar de oro que estaba delante de Dios,
14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
14 diciendo al sexto ángel que tenía la trompeta: Desata a los cuatro ángeles que están atados junto al gran río Éufrates.
15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.
15 Y fueron desatados los cuatro ángeles que estaban preparados para la hora, día, mes y año, a fin de matar a la tercera parte de los hombres.
16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
16 Y el número de los ejércitos de los jinetes era doscientos millones. Yo oí su número.
17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
17 Así vi en visión los caballos y a sus jinetes, los cuales tenían corazas de fuego, de zafiro y de azufre. Y las cabezas de los caballos eran como cabezas de leones; y de su boca salían fuego, humo y azufre.
18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
18 Por estas tres plagas fue muerta la tercera parte de los hombres; por el fuego, el humo y el azufre que salían de su boca.
19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
19 Pues el poder de los caballos estaba en su boca y en sus colas; porque sus colas, semejantes a serpientes, tenían cabezas, y con ellas dañaban.
20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
20 Y los otros hombres que no fueron muertos con estas plagas, ni aun así se arrepintieron de las obras de sus manos, ni dejaron de adorar a los demonios, y a las imágenes de oro, de plata, de bronce, de piedra y de madera, las cuales no pueden ver, ni oír, ni andar;
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
21 y no se arrepintieron de sus homicidios, ni de sus hechicerías, ni de su fornicación, ni de sus hurtos.
Revelation 10
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
1 Vi descender del cielo a otro ángel fuerte, envuelto en una nube, con el arco iris sobre su cabeza; y su rostro era como el sol, y sus pies como columnas de fuego.
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
2 Tenía en su mano un librito abierto; y puso su pie derecho sobre el mar, y el izquierdo sobre la tierra;
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
3 y clamó a gran voz, como ruge un león; y cuando hubo clamado, siete truenos emitieron sus voces.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
4 Cuando los siete truenos hubieron emitido sus voces, yo iba a escribir; pero oí una voz del cielo que me decía: Sella las cosas que los siete truenos han dicho, y no las escribas.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
5 Y el ángel que vi en pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra, levantó su mano al cielo,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
6 y juró por el que vive por los siglos de los siglos, que creó el cielo y las cosas que están en él, y la tierra y las cosas que están en ella, y el mar y las cosas que están en él, que el tiempo no sería más,
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
7 sino que en los días de la voz del séptimo ángel, cuando él comience a tocar la trompeta, el misterio de Dios se consumará, como él lo anunció a sus siervos los profetas.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
8 La voz que oí del cielo habló otra vez conmigo, y dijo: Ve y toma el librito que está abierto en la mano del ángel que está en pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
9 Y fui al ángel, diciéndole que me diese el librito. Y él me dijo: Toma, y cómelo; y te amargará el vientre, pero en tu boca será dulce como la miel.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
10 Entonces tomé el librito de la mano del ángel, y lo comí; y era dulce en mi boca como la miel, pero cuando lo hube comido, amargó mi vientre.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
11 Y él me dijo: Es necesario que profetices otra vez sobre muchos pueblos, naciones, lenguas y reyes.
Revelation 11
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
1 Entonces me fue dada una caña semejante a una vara de medir, y se me dijo: Levántate, y mide el templo de Dios, y el altar, y a los que adoran en él.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
2 Pero el patio que está fuera del templo déjalo aparte, y no lo midas, porque ha sido entregado a los gentiles; y ellos hollarán la ciudad santa cuarenta y dos meses.
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
3 Y daré a mis dos testigos que profeticen por mil doscientos sesenta días, vestidos de cilicio.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
4 Estos testigos son los dos olivos, y los dos candeleros que están en pie delante del Dios de la tierra.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
5 Si alguno quiere dañarlos, sale fuego de la boca de ellos, y devora a sus enemigos; y si alguno quiere hacerles daño, debe morir él de la misma manera.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
6 Éstos tienen poder para cerrar el cielo, a fin de que no llueva en los días de su profecía; y tienen poder sobre las aguas para convertirlas en sangre, y para herir la tierra con toda plaga, cuantas veces quieran.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
7 Cuando hayan acabado su testimonio, la bestia que sube del abismo hará guerra contra ellos, y los vencerá y los matará.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
8 Y sus cadáveres estarán en la plaza de la grande ciudad que en sentido espiritual se llama Sodoma y Egipto, donde también nuestro Señor fue crucificado.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
9 Y los de los pueblos, tribus, lenguas y naciones verán sus cadáveres por tres días y medio, y no permitirán que sean sepultados.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
10 Y los moradores de la tierra se regocijarán sobre ellos y se alegrarán, y se enviarán regalos unos a otros; porque estos dos profetas habían atormentado a los moradores de la tierra.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
11 Pero después de tres días y medio entró en ellos el espíritu de vida enviado por Dios, y se levantaron sobre sus pies, y cayó gran temor sobre los que los vieron.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
12 Y oyeron una gran voz del cielo, que les decía: Subid acá. Y subieron al cielo en una nube; y sus enemigos los vieron.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
13 En aquella hora hubo un gran terremoto, y la décima parte de la ciudad se derrumbó, y por el terremoto murieron en número de siete mil hombres; y los demás se aterrorizaron, y dieron gloria al Dios del cielo.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
14 El segundo ay pasó; he aquí, el tercer ay viene pronto.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
15 El séptimo ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubo grandes voces en el cielo, que decían: Los reinos del mundo han venido a ser de nuestro Señor y de su Cristo; y él reinará por los siglos de los siglos.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
16 Y los veinticuatro ancianos que estaban sentados delante de Dios en sus tronos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, y adoraron a Dios,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
17 diciendo: Te damos gracias, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, el que eres y que eras y que has de venir, porque has tomado tu gran poder, y has reinado.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
18 Y se airaron las naciones, y tu ira ha venido, y el tiempo de juzgar a los muertos, y de dar el galardón a tus siervos los profetas, a los santos, y a los que temen tu nombre, a los pequeños y a los grandes, y de destruir a los que destruyen la tierra.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
19 Y el templo de Dios fue abierto en el cielo, y el arca de su pacto se veía en el templo. Y hubo relámpagos, voces, truenos, un terremoto y grande granizo.
Revelation 12
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
1 Apareció en el cielo una gran señal: una mujer vestida del sol, con la luna debajo de sus pies, y sobre su cabeza una corona de doce estrellas.
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
2 Y estando encinta, clamaba con dolores de parto, en la angustia del alumbramiento.
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
3 También apareció otra señal en el cielo: he aquí un gran dragón escarlata, que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos, y en sus cabezas siete diademas;
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
4 y su cola arrastraba la tercera parte de las estrellas del cielo, y las arrojó sobre la tierra. Y el dragón se paró frente a la mujer que estaba para dar a luz, a fin de devorar a su hijo tan pronto como naciese.
5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
5 Y ella dio a luz un hijo varón, que regirá con vara de hierro a todas las naciones; y su hijo fue arrebatado para Dios y para su trono.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
6 Y la mujer huyó al desierto, donde tiene lugar preparado por Dios, para que allí la sustenten por mil doscientos sesenta días.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
7 Después hubo una gran batalla en el cielo: Miguel y sus ángeles luchaban contra el dragón; y luchaban el dragón y sus ángeles;
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
8 pero no prevalecieron, ni se halló ya lugar para ellos en el cielo.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
9 Y fue lanzado fuera el gran dragón, la serpiente antigua, que se llama diablo y Satanás, el cual engaña al mundo entero; fue arrojado a la tierra, y sus ángeles fueron arrojados con él.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
10 Entonces oí una gran voz en el cielo, que decía: Ahora ha venido la salvación, el poder, y el reino de nuestro Dios, y la autoridad de su Cristo; porque ha sido lanzado fuera el acusador de nuestros hermanos, el que los acusaba delante de nuestro Dios día y noche.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
11 Y ellos le han vencido por medio de la sangre del Cordero y de la palabra del testimonio de ellos, y menospreciaron sus vidas hasta la muerte.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
12 Por lo cual alegraos, cielos, y los que moráis en ellos. ¡Ay de los moradores de la tierra y del mar! porque el diablo ha descendido a vosotros con gran ira, sabiendo que tiene poco tiempo.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
13 Y cuando vio el dragón que había sido arrojado a la tierra, persiguió a la mujer que había dado a luz al hijo varón.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
14 Y se le dieron a la mujer las dos alas de la gran águila, para que volase de delante de la serpiente al desierto, a su lugar, donde es sustentada por un tiempo, y tiempos, y la mitad de un tiempo.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
15 Y la serpiente arrojó de su boca, tras la mujer, agua como un río, para que fuese arrastrada por el río.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
16 Pero la tierra ayudó a la mujer, pues la tierra abrió su boca y tragó el río que el dragón había echado de su boca.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
17 Entonces el dragón se llenó de ira contra la mujer; y se fue a hacer guerra contra el resto de la descendencia de ella, los que guardan los mandamientos de Dios y tienen el testimonio de Jesucristo.
Revelation 13
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
1 Me paré sobre la arena del mar, y vi subir del mar una bestia que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos; y en sus cuernos diez diademas; y sobre sus cabezas, un nombre blasfemo.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
2 Y la bestia que vi era semejante a un leopardo, y sus pies como de oso, y su boca como boca de león. Y el dragón le dio su poder y su trono, y grande autoridad.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
3 Vi una de sus cabezas como herida de muerte, pero su herida mortal fue sanada; y se maravilló toda la tierra en pos de la bestia,
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
4 y adoraron al dragón que había dado autoridad a la bestia, y adoraron a la bestia, diciendo: ¿Quién como la bestia, y quién podrá luchar contra ella?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
5 También se le dio boca que hablaba grandes cosas y blasfemias; y se le dio autoridad para actuar cuarenta y dos meses.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
6 Y abrió su boca en blasfemias contra Dios, para blasfemar de su nombre, de su tabernáculo, y de los que moran en el cielo.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
7 Y se le permitió hacer guerra contra los santos, y vencerlos. También se le dio autoridad sobre toda tribu, pueblo, lengua y nación.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
8 Y la adoraron todos los moradores de la tierra cuyos nombres no estaban escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero que fue inmolado desde el principio del mundo.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.
9 Si alguno tiene oído, oiga.
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
10 Si alguno lleva en cautividad, va en cautividad; si alguno mata a espada, a espada debe ser muerto. Aquí está la paciencia y la fe de los santos.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
11 Después vi otra bestia que subía de la tierra; y tenía dos cuernos semejantes a los de un cordero, pero hablaba como dragón.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
12 Y ejerce toda la autoridad de la primera bestia en presencia de ella, y hace que la tierra y los moradores de ella adoren a la primera bestia, cuya herida mortal fue sanada.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
13 También hace grandes señales, de tal manera que aun hace descender fuego del cielo a la tierra delante de los hombres.
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
14 Y engaña a los moradores de la tierra con las señales que se le ha permitido hacer en presencia de la bestia, mandando a los moradores de la tierra que le hagan imagen a la bestia que tiene la herida de espada, y vivió.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
15 Y se le permitió infundir aliento a la imagen de la bestia, para que la imagen hablase e hiciese matar a todo el que no la adorase.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
16 Y hacía que a todos, pequeños y grandes, ricos y pobres, libres y esclavos, se les pusiese una marca en la mano derecha, o en la frente;
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
17 y que ninguno pudiese comprar ni vender, sino el que tuviese la marca o el nombre de la bestia, o el número de su nombre.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
18 Aquí hay sabiduría. El que tiene entendimiento, cuente el número de la bestia, pues es número de hombre. Y su número es seiscientos sesenta y seis.
Revelation 14
1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
1 Después miré, y he aquí el Cordero estaba en pie sobre el monte de Sion, y con él ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil, que tenían el nombre de él y el de su Padre escrito en la frente.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
2 Y oí una voz del cielo como estruendo de muchas aguas, y como sonido de un gran trueno; y la voz que oí era como de arpistas que tocaban sus arpas.
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
3 Y cantaban un cántico nuevo delante del trono, y delante de los cuatro seres vivientes, y de los ancianos; y nadie podía aprender el cántico sino aquellos ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil que fueron redimidos de entre los de la tierra.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
4 Éstos son los que no se contaminaron con mujeres, pues son vírgenes. Éstos son los que siguen al Cordero por dondequiera que va. Éstos fueron redimidos de entre los hombres como primicias para Dios y para el Cordero;
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
5 y en sus bocas no fue hallada mentira, pues son sin mancha delante del trono de Dios.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
6 Vi volar por en medio del cielo a otro ángel, que tenía el evangelio eterno para predicarlo a los moradores de la tierra, a toda nación, tribu, lengua y pueblo,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
7 diciendo a gran voz: Temed a Dios, y dadle gloria, porque la hora de su juicio ha llegado; y adorad a aquel que hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y las fuentes de las aguas.
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
8 Otro ángel le siguió, diciendo: Ha caído, ha caído Babilonia, la gran ciudad, porque ha hecho beber a todas las naciones del vino del furor de su fornicación.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
9 Y el tercer ángel los siguió, diciendo a gran voz: Si alguno adora a la bestia y a su imagen, y recibe la marca en su frente o en su mano,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
10 él también beberá del vino de la ira de Dios, que ha sido vaciado puro en el cáliz de su ira; y será atormentado con fuego y azufre delante de los santos ángeles y del Cordero;
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
11 y el humo de su tormento sube por los siglos de los siglos. Y no tienen reposo de día ni de noche los que adoran a la bestia y a su imagen, ni nadie que reciba la marca de su nombre.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
12 Aquí está la paciencia de los santos, los que guardan los mandamientos de Dios y la fe de Jesús.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
13 Oí una voz que desde el cielo me decía: Escribe: Bienaventurados de aquí en adelante los muertos que mueren en el Señor. Sí, dice el Espíritu, descansarán de sus trabajos, porque sus obras con ellos siguen.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
14 Miré, y he aquí una nube blanca; y sobre la nube uno sentado semejante al Hijo del Hombre, que tenía en la cabeza una corona de oro, y en la mano una hoz aguda.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
15 Y del templo salió otro ángel, clamando a gran voz al que estaba sentado sobre la nube: Mete tu hoz, y siega; porque la hora de segar ha llegado, pues la mies de la tierra está madura.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
16 Y el que estaba sentado sobre la nube metió su hoz en la tierra, y la tierra fue segada.
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
17 Salió otro ángel del templo que está en el cielo, teniendo también una hoz aguda.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
18 Y salió del altar otro ángel, que tenía poder sobre el fuego, y llamó a gran voz al que tenía la hoz aguda, diciendo: Mete tu hoz aguda, y vendimia los racimos de la tierra, porque sus uvas están maduras.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
19 Y el ángel arrojó su hoz en la tierra, y vendimió la viña de la tierra, y echó las uvas en el gran lagar de la ira de Dios.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
20 Y fue pisado el lagar fuera de la ciudad, y del lagar salió sangre hasta los frenos de los caballos, por mil seiscientos estadios.
Revelation 15
1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
1 Vi en el cielo otra señal, grande y admirable: siete ángeles que tenían las siete plagas postreras; porque en ellas se consumaba la ira de Dios.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
2 Vi también como un mar de vidrio mezclado con fuego; y a los que habían alcanzado la victoria sobre la bestia y su imagen, y su marca y el número de su nombre, en pie sobre el mar de vidrio, con las arpas de Dios.
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
3 Y cantan el cántico de Moisés siervo de Dios, y el cántico del Cordero, diciendo: Grandes y maravillosas son tus obras, Señor Dios Todopoderoso; justos y verdaderos son tus caminos, Rey de los santos.
4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
4 ¿Quién no te temerá, oh Señor, y glorificará tu nombre? pues sólo tú eres santo; por lo cual todas las naciones vendrán y te adorarán, porque tus juicios se han manifestado.
5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
5 Después de estas cosas miré, y he aquí fue abierto en el cielo el templo del tabernáculo del testimonio;
6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
6 y del templo salieron los siete ángeles que tenían las siete plagas, vestidos de lino limpio y resplandeciente, y ceñidos alrededor del pecho con cintos de oro.
7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
7 Y uno de los cuatro seres vivientes dio a los siete ángeles siete copas de oro, llenas de la ira de Dios, que vive por los siglos de los siglos.
8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
8 Y el templo se llenó de humo por la gloria de Dios, y por su poder; y nadie podía entrar en el templo hasta que se hubiesen cumplido las siete plagas de los siete ángeles.

1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
1 Oí una gran voz que decía desde el templo a los siete ángeles: Id y derramad sobre la tierra las siete copas de la ira de Dios.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
2 Fue el primero, y derramó su copa sobre la tierra, y vino una úlcera maligna y pestilente sobre los hombres que tenían la marca de la bestia, y que adoraban su imagen.
3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
3 El segundo ángel derramó su copa sobre el mar, y éste se convirtió en sangre como de muerto; y murió todo ser vivo que había en el mar.
4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
4 El tercer ángel derramó su copa sobre los ríos, y sobre las fuentes de las aguas, y se convirtieron en sangre.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
5 Y oí al ángel de las aguas, que decía: Justo eres tú, oh Señor, el que eres y que eras, el Santo, porque has juzgado estas cosas.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
6 Por cuanto derramaron la sangre de los santos y de los profetas, también tú les has dado a beber sangre; pues lo merecen.
7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
7 También oí a otro, que desde el altar decía: Ciertamente, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, tus juicios son verdaderos y justos.
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
8 El cuarto ángel derramó su copa sobre el sol, al cual fue dado quemar a los hombres con fuego.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
9 Y los hombres se quemaron con el gran calor, y blasfemaron el nombre de Dios, que tiene poder sobre estas plagas, y no se arrepintieron para darle gloria.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
10 El quinto ángel derramó su copa sobre el trono de la bestia; y su reino se cubrió de tinieblas, y mordían de dolor sus lenguas,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
11 y blasfemaron contra el Dios del cielo por sus dolores y por sus úlceras, y no se arrepintieron de sus obras.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
12 El sexto ángel derramó su copa sobre el gran río Éufrates; y el agua de éste se secó, para que estuviese preparado el camino a los reyes del oriente.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
13 Y vi salir de la boca del dragón, y de la boca de la bestia, y de la boca del falso profeta, tres espíritus inmundos a manera de ranas;
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
14 pues son espíritus de demonios, que hacen señales, y van a los reyes de la tierra en todo el mundo, para reunirlos a la batalla de aquel gran día del Dios Todopoderoso.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
15 He aquí, yo vengo como ladrón. Bienaventurado el que vela, y guarda sus ropas, para que no ande desnudo, y vean su vergüenza.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
16 Y los reunió en el lugar que en hebreo se llama Armagedón.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
17 El séptimo ángel derramó su copa por el aire; y salió una gran voz del templo del cielo, del trono, diciendo: Hecho está.
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
18 Entonces hubo relámpagos y voces y truenos, y un gran temblor de tierra, un terremoto tan grande, cual no lo hubo jamás desde que los hombres han estado sobre la tierra.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
19 Y la gran ciudad fue dividida en tres partes, y las ciudades de las naciones cayeron; y la gran Babilonia vino en memoria delante de Dios, para darle el cáliz del vino del ardor de su ira.
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
20 Y toda isla huyó, y los montes no fueron hallados.
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
21 Y cayó del cielo sobre los hombres un enorme granizo como del peso de un talento; y los hombres blasfemaron contra Dios por la plaga del granizo; porque su plaga fue sobremanera grande.
Revelation 17
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
1 Vino entonces uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas, y habló conmigo diciéndome: Ven acá, y te mostraré la sentencia contra la gran ramera, la que está sentada sobre muchas aguas;
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
2 con la cual han fornicado los reyes de la tierra, y los moradores de la tierra se han embriagado con el vino de su fornicación.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
3 Y me llevó en el Espíritu al desierto; y vi a una mujer sentada sobre una bestia escarlata llena de nombres de blasfemia, que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
4 Y la mujer estaba vestida de púrpura y escarlata, y adornada de oro, de piedras preciosas y de perlas, y tenía en la mano un cáliz de oro lleno de abominaciones y de la inmundicia de su fornicación;
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
5 y en su frente un nombre escrito, un misterio: BABILONIA LA GRANDE, LA MADRE DE LAS RAMERAS Y DE LAS ABOMINACIONES DE LA TIERRA.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
6 Vi a la mujer ebria de la sangre de los santos, y de la sangre de los mártires de Jesús; y cuando la vi, quedé asombrado con gran asombro.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
7 Y el ángel me dijo: ¿Por qué te asombras? Yo te diré el misterio de la mujer, y de la bestia que la trae, la cual tiene las siete cabezas y los diez cuernos.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
8 La bestia que has visto, era, y no es; y está para subir del abismo e ir a perdición; y los moradores de la tierra, aquellos cuyos nombres no están escritos desde la fundación del mundo en el libro de la vida, se asombrarán viendo la bestia que era y no es, y será.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
9 Esto, para la mente que tenga sabiduría: Las siete cabezas son siete montes, sobre los cuales se sienta la mujer,
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
10 y son siete reyes. Cinco de ellos han caído; uno es, y el otro aún no ha venido; y cuando venga, es necesario que dure breve tiempo.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
11 La bestia que era, y no es, es también el octavo; y es de entre los siete, y va a la perdición.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
12 Y los diez cuernos que has visto, son diez reyes, que aún no han recibido reino; pero por una hora recibirán autoridad como reyes juntamente con la bestia.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
13 Éstos tienen un mismo propósito, y entregarán su poder y su autoridad a la bestia.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
14 Pelearán contra el Cordero, y el Cordero los vencerá, porque él es Señor de señores y Rey de reyes; y los que están con él son llamados y elegidos y fieles.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
15 Me dijo también: Las aguas que has visto donde la ramera se sienta, son pueblos, muchedumbres, naciones y lenguas.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
16 Y los diez cuernos que viste en la bestia, éstos aborrecerán a la ramera, y la dejarán desolada y desnuda; y devorarán sus carnes, y la quemarán con fuego;
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
17 porque Dios ha puesto en sus corazones el ejecutar lo que él quiso: ponerse de acuerdo, y dar su reino a la bestia, hasta que se cumplan las palabras de Dios.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
18 Y la mujer que has visto es la gran ciudad que reina sobre los reyes de la tierra.
Revelation 18
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
1 Después de esto vi a otro ángel descender del cielo con gran poder; y la tierra fue alumbrada con su gloria.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
2 Y clamó con voz potente, diciendo: Ha caído, ha caído la gran Babilonia, y se ha hecho habitación de demonios y guarida de todo espíritu inmundo, y albergue de toda ave inmunda y aborrecible.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
3 Porque todas las naciones han bebido del vino del furor de su fornicación; y los reyes de la tierra han fornicado con ella, y los mercaderes de la tierra se han enriquecido de la potencia de sus deleites.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
4 Y oí otra voz del cielo, que decía: Salid de ella, pueblo mío, para que no seáis partícipes de sus pecados, ni recibáis parte de sus plagas;
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
5 porque sus pecados han llegado hasta el cielo, y Dios se ha acordado de sus maldades.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
6 Dadle a ella como ella os ha dado, y pagadle doble según sus obras; en el cáliz en que ella preparó bebida, preparadle a ella el doble.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
7 Cuanto ella se ha glorificado y ha vivido en deleites, tanto dadle de tormento y llanto; porque dice en su corazón: Yo estoy sentada como reina, y no soy viuda, y no veré llanto;
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
8 por lo cual en un solo día vendrán sus plagas; muerte, llanto y hambre, y será quemada con fuego; porque poderoso es Dios el Señor, que la juzga.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
9 Y los reyes de la tierra que han fornicado con ella, y con ella han vivido en deleites, llorarán y harán lamentación sobre ella, cuando vean el humo de su incendio,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
10 parándose lejos por el temor de su tormento, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de la gran ciudad de Babilonia, la ciudad fuerte; porque en una hora vino tu juicio!
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
11 Y los mercaderes de la tierra lloran y hacen lamentación sobre ella, porque ninguno compra más sus mercaderías;
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
12 mercadería de oro, de plata, de piedras preciosas, de perlas, de lino fino, de púrpura, de seda, de escarlata, de toda madera olorosa, de todo objeto de marfil, de todo objeto de madera preciosa, de cobre, de hierro y de mármol;
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
13 y canela, especias aromáticas, incienso, mirra, olíbano, vino, aceite, flor de harina, trigo, bestias, ovejas, caballos y carros, y esclavos, almas de hombres.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
14 Los frutos codiciados por tu alma se apartaron de ti, y todas las cosas exquisitas y espléndidas te han faltado, y nunca más las hallarás.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
15 Los mercaderes de estas cosas, que se han enriquecido a costa de ella, se pararán lejos por el temor de su tormento, llorando y lamentando,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
16 y diciendo: ¡Ay, ay, de la gran ciudad, que estaba vestida de lino fino, de púrpura y de escarlata, y estaba adornada de oro, de piedras preciosas y de perlas!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
17 Porque en una hora han sido consumidas tantas riquezas. Y todo piloto, y todos los que viajan en naves, y marineros, y todos los que trabajan en el mar, se pararon lejos;
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
18 y viendo el humo de su incendio, dieron voces, diciendo: ¿Qué ciudad era semejante a esta gran ciudad?
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
19 Y echaron polvo sobre sus cabezas, y dieron voces, llorando y lamentando, diciendo: ¡Ay, ay de la gran ciudad, en la cual todos los que tenían naves en el mar se habían enriquecido de sus riquezas; pues en una hora ha sido desolada!
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
20 Alégrate sobre ella, cielo, y vosotros, santos, apóstoles y profetas; porque Dios os ha hecho justicia en ella.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
21 Y un ángel poderoso tomó una piedra, como una gran piedra de molino, y la arrojó en el mar, diciendo: Con el mismo ímpetu será derribada Babilonia, la gran ciudad, y nunca más será hallada.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
22 Y voz de arpistas, de músicos, de flautistas y de trompeteros no se oirá más en ti; y ningún artífice de oficio alguno se hallará más en ti, ni ruido de molino se oirá más en ti.
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
23 Luz de lámpara no alumbrará más en ti, ni voz de esposo y de esposa se oirá más en ti; porque tus mercaderes eran los grandes de la tierra; pues por tus hechicerías fueron engañadas todas las naciones.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
24 Y en ella se halló la sangre de los profetas y de los santos, y de todos los que han sido muertos en la tierra.
Revelation 19
1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
1 Después de esto oí una gran voz de gran multitud en el cielo, que decía: ¡Aleluya! Salvación y honra y gloria y poder son del Señor Dios nuestro;
2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
2 porque sus juicios son verdaderos y justos; pues ha juzgado a la gran ramera que ha corrompido a la tierra con su fornicación, y ha vengado la sangre de sus siervos de la mano de ella.
3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
3 Otra vez dijeron: ¡Aleluya! Y el humo de ella sube por los siglos de los siglos.
4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
4 Y los veinticuatro ancianos y los cuatro seres vivientes se postraron en tierra y adoraron a Dios, que estaba sentado en el trono, y decían: ¡Amén! ¡Aleluya!
5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
5 Y salió del trono una voz que decía: Alabad a nuestro Dios todos sus siervos, y los que le teméis, así pequeños como grandes.
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
6 Y oí como la voz de una gran multitud, como el estruendo de muchas aguas, y como la voz de grandes truenos, que decía: ¡Aleluya, porque el Señor nuestro Dios Todopoderoso reina!
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
7 Gocémonos y alegrémonos y démosle gloria; porque han llegado las bodas del Cordero, y su esposa se ha preparado.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
8 Y a ella se le ha concedido que se vista de lino fino, limpio y resplandeciente; porque el lino fino es las acciones justas de los santos.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
9 Y el ángel me dijo: Escribe: Bienaventurados los que son llamados a la cena de las bodas del Cordero. Y me dijo: Éstas son palabras verdaderas de Dios.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
10 Yo me postré a sus pies para adorarle. Y él me dijo: Mira, no lo hagas; yo soy consiervo tuyo, y de tus hermanos que retienen el testimonio de Jesús. Adora a Dios; porque el testimonio de Jesús es el espíritu de la profecía.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
11 Entonces vi el cielo abierto; y he aquí un caballo blanco, y el que lo montaba se llamaba Fiel y Verdadero, y con justicia juzga y pelea.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
12 Sus ojos eran como llama de fuego, y había en su cabeza muchas diademas; y tenía un nombre escrito que ninguno conocía sino él mismo.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
13 Estaba vestido de una ropa teñida en sangre; y su nombre es: EL VERBO DE DIOS.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
14 Y los ejércitos celestiales, vestidos de lino finísimo, blanco y limpio, le seguían en caballos blancos.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
15 De su boca sale una espada aguda, para herir con ella a las naciones, y él las regirá con vara de hierro; y él pisa el lagar del vino del furor y de la ira del Dios Todopoderoso.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
16 Y en su vestidura y en su muslo tiene escrito este nombre: REY DE REYES Y SEÑOR DE SEÑORES.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
17 Y vi a un ángel que estaba en pie en el sol, y clamó a gran voz, diciendo a todas las aves que vuelan en medio del cielo: Venid, y congregaos a la gran cena de Dios,
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
18 para que comáis carnes de reyes y de capitanes, y carnes de fuertes, carnes de caballos y de sus jinetes, y carnes de todos, libres y esclavos, pequeños y grandes.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
19 Y vi a la bestia, a los reyes de la tierra y a sus ejércitos, reunidos para guerrear contra el que montaba el caballo, y contra su ejército.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
20 Y la bestia fue apresada, y con ella el falso profeta que había hecho delante de ella las señales con las cuales había engañado a los que recibieron la marca de la bestia, y habían adorado su imagen. Estos dos fueron lanzados vivos dentro de un lago de fuego que arde con azufre.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
21 Y los demás fueron muertos con la espada que salía de la boca del que montaba el caballo, y todas las aves se saciaron de las carnes de ellos.
Revelation 20
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
1 Vi a un ángel que descendía del cielo, con la llave del abismo, y una gran cadena en la mano.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
2 Y prendió al dragón, la serpiente antigua, que es el diablo y Satanás, y lo ató por mil años;
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
3 y lo arrojó al abismo, y lo encerró, y puso su sello sobre él, para que no engañase más a las naciones, hasta que fuesen cumplidos mil años; y después de esto debe ser desatado por un poco de tiempo.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
4 Y vi tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos los que recibieron facultad de juzgar; y vi las almas de los decapitados por causa del testimonio de Jesús y por la palabra de Dios, los que no habían adorado a la bestia ni a su imagen, y que no recibieron la marca en sus frentes ni en sus manos; y vivieron y reinaron con Cristo mil años.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
5 Pero los otros muertos no volvieron a vivir hasta que se cumplieron mil años. Ésta es la primera resurrección.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
6 Bienaventurado y santo el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección; la segunda muerte no tiene potestad sobre éstos, sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, y reinarán con él mil años.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
7 Cuando los mil años se cumplan, Satanás será suelto de su prisión,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
8 y saldrá a engañar a las naciones que están en los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, a Gog y a Magog, a fin de reunirlos para la batalla; el número de los cuales es como la arena del mar.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
9 Y subieron sobre la anchura de la tierra, y rodearon el campamento de los santos y la ciudad amada; y de Dios descendió fuego del cielo, y los consumió.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
10 Y el diablo que los engañaba fue lanzado en el lago de fuego y azufre, donde estaban la bestia y el falso profeta; y serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
11 Y vi un gran trono blanco y al que estaba sentado en él, de delante del cual huyeron la tierra y el cielo, y ningún lugar se encontró para ellos.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
12 Y vi a los muertos, grandes y pequeños, de pie ante Dios; y los libros fueron abiertos, y otro libro fue abierto, el cual es el libro de la vida; y fueron juzgados los muertos por las cosas que estaban escritas en los libros, según sus obras.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
13 Y el mar entregó los muertos que había en él; y la muerte y el Hades entregaron los muertos que había en ellos; y fueron juzgados cada uno según sus obras.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
14 Y la muerte y el Hades fueron lanzados al lago de fuego. Ésta es la muerte segunda.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
15 Y el que no se halló inscrito en el libro de la vida fue lanzado al lago de fuego.
Revelation 21
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
1 Vi un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva; porque el primer cielo y la primera tierra pasaron, y el mar ya no existía más.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
2 Y yo Juan vi la santa ciudad, la nueva Jerusalén, descender del cielo, de Dios, dispuesta como una esposa ataviada para su marido.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
3 Y oí una gran voz del cielo que decía: He aquí el tabernáculo de Dios con los hombres, y él morará con ellos; y ellos serán su pueblo, y Dios mismo estará con ellos como su Dios.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
4 Enjugará Dios toda lágrima de los ojos de ellos; y ya no habrá muerte, ni habrá más llanto, ni clamor, ni dolor; porque las primeras cosas pasaron.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
5 Y el que estaba sentado en el trono dijo: He aquí, yo hago nuevas todas las cosas. Y me dijo: Escribe; porque estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
6 Y me dijo: Hecho está. Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin. Al que tuviere sed, yo le daré gratuitamente de la fuente del agua de la vida.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
7 El que venciere heredará todas las cosas, y yo seré su Dios, y él será mi hijo.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
8 Pero los cobardes e incrédulos, los abominables y homicidas, los fornicarios y hechiceros, los idólatras y todos los mentirosos tendrán su parte en el lago que arde con fuego y azufre, que es la muerte segunda.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
9 Vino entonces a mí uno de los siete ángeles que tenían las siete copas llenas de las siete plagas postreras, y habló conmigo, diciendo: Ven acá, yo te mostraré la desposada, la esposa del Cordero.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
10 Y me llevó en el Espíritu a un monte grande y alto, y me mostró la gran ciudad santa de Jerusalén, que descendía del cielo, de Dios,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
11 teniendo la gloria de Dios. Y su fulgor era semejante al de una piedra preciosísima, como piedra de jaspe, diáfana como el cristal.
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
12 Tenía un muro grande y alto con doce puertas; y en las puertas, doce ángeles, y nombres inscritos, que son los de las doce tribus de los hijos de Israel;
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
13 al oriente tres puertas; al norte tres puertas; al sur tres puertas; al occidente tres puertas.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
14 Y el muro de la ciudad tenía doce cimientos, y sobre ellos los doce nombres de los doce apóstoles del Cordero.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
15 El que hablaba conmigo tenía una caña de medir, de oro, para medir la ciudad, sus puertas y su muro.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
16 La ciudad se halla establecida en cuadro, y su longitud es igual a su anchura; y él midió la ciudad con la caña, doce mil estadios; la longitud, la altura y la anchura de ella son iguales.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
17 Y midió su muro, ciento cuarenta y cuatro codos, de medida de hombre, la cual es de ángel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
18 El material de su muro era de jaspe; pero la ciudad era de oro puro, semejante al vidrio limpio;
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
19 y los cimientos del muro de la ciudad estaban adornados con toda piedra preciosa. El primer cimiento era jaspe; el segundo, zafiro; el tercero, ágata; el cuarto, esmeralda;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
20 el quinto, ónice; el sexto, cornalina; el séptimo, crisólito; el octavo, berilo; el noveno, topacio; el décimo, crisopraso; el undécimo, jacinto; el duodécimo, amatista.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
21 Las doce puertas eran doce perlas; cada una de las puertas era una perla. Y la calle de la ciudad era de oro puro, transparente como vidrio.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
22 Y no vi en ella templo; porque el Señor Dios Todopoderoso es el templo de ella, y el Cordero.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
23 La ciudad no tiene necesidad de sol ni de luna que brillen en ella; porque la gloria de Dios la ilumina, y el Cordero es su lumbrera.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
24 Y las naciones que hubieren sido salvas andarán a la luz de ella; y los reyes de la tierra traerán su gloria y honor a ella.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
25 Sus puertas nunca serán cerradas de día, pues allí no habrá noche.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
26 Y llevarán la gloria y la honra de las naciones a ella.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
27 No entrará en ella ninguna cosa inmunda, o que hace abominación y mentira, sino solamente los que están inscritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero.
Revelation 22
1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
1 Después me mostró un río limpio de agua de vida, resplandeciente como cristal, que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
2 En medio de la calle de la ciudad, y a uno y otro lado del río, estaba el árbol de la vida, que produce doce frutos, dando cada mes su fruto; y las hojas del árbol eran para la sanidad de las naciones.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
3 Y no habrá más maldición; y el trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en ella, y sus siervos le servirán,
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
4 y verán su rostro, y su nombre estará en sus frentes.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
5 No habrá allí más noche; y no tienen necesidad de luz de lámpara, ni de luz del sol, porque Dios el Señor los iluminará; y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
6 Y me dijo: Estas palabras son fieles y verdaderas. Y el Señor, el Dios de los espíritus de los profetas, ha enviado su ángel, para mostrar a sus siervos las cosas que deben suceder pronto.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
7 ¡He aquí, vengo pronto! Bienaventurado el que guarda las palabras de la profecía de este libro.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
8 Yo Juan soy el que oyó y vio estas cosas. Y después que las hube oído y visto, me postré para adorar a los pies del ángel que me mostraba estas cosas.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
9 Pero él me dijo: Mira, no lo hagas; porque yo soy consiervo tuyo, de tus hermanos los profetas, y de los que guardan las palabras de este libro. Adora a Dios.
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
10 Y me dijo: No selles las palabras de la profecía de este libro, porque el tiempo está cerca.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
11 El que es injusto, sea injusto todavía; y el que es inmundo, sea inmundo todavía; y el que es justo, practique la justicia todavía; y el que es santo, santifíquese todavía.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
12 He aquí yo vengo pronto, y mi galardón conmigo, para recompensar a cada uno según sea su obra.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin, el primero y el último.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
14 Bienaventurados los que lavan sus ropas, para tener derecho al árbol de la vida, y para entrar por las puertas en la ciudad.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
15 Mas los perros estarán fuera, y los hechiceros, los fornicarios, los homicidas, los idólatras, y todo aquel que ama y hace mentira.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
16 Yo Jesús he enviado mi ángel para daros testimonio de estas cosas en las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y el linaje de David, la estrella resplandeciente de la mañana.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
17 Y el Espíritu y la Esposa dicen: Ven. Y el que oye, diga: Ven. Y el que tiene sed, venga; y el que quiera, tome del agua de la vida gratuitamente.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
18 Yo testifico a todo aquel que oye las palabras de la profecía de este libro: Si alguno añadiere a estas cosas, Dios traerá sobre él las plagas que están escritas en este libro.
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
19 Y si alguno quitare de las palabras del libro de esta profecía, Dios quitará su parte del libro de la vida, y de la santa ciudad y de las cosas que están escritas en este libro.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
20 El que da testimonio de estas cosas dice: Ciertamente vengo en breve. Amén; sí, ven, Señor Jesús.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
21 La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con todos vosotros. Amén.
